The alfalfa ready, we moved the mobile coops on to the pasture and let out the layers. It's always fun to see them explore the ground, swimming in a sea of green.

- Riverdog Farm is a diverse, 500 acre organic farm in northern California. The farm offers a wide array of certified organic fruits, vegetables and nuts at the Berkeley Farmers Markets, via wholesale outlets, and through our Community Supported Agriculture program. We also raise happy hogs and hens in open pasture and grow 100 acres of grain, including barley, triticale, cowpeas, and permanent alfalfa pasture for animal feed.
